A Message from Tr. Salam Arabic Teacher for Arabic Speakers

Head Lice in the Classroom

As-Salamu Aleikum Dear Parents,

we have the unfortunate incident of head lice in our class. Please take the time to check your child and if found go through the necessary steps to remove.

For lice prevention try rubbing some tea tree oil behind your child's ears in the mornings or putting 8-10 drops in their shampoo. Keep in mind that tea tree is toxic if ingested and you should keep away from children and it may cause a rash on those prone to allergies. Tea tree oil can be purchased at any pharmacy.

May Allah protect our children from this.

Hajj Workshop - Tuesday, October 23rd

Hajj Workshop -  Tuesday, October 23rd!

The Hajj workshop is a series of stories and activities to teach our students about the fifth pillar of Islam, the Blessed Pilgramage to the Ka'aba, and to allow them to feel closeness to millions of Muslims who participate in the Pilgramage every year. Students will be participating in a variety of work shops throughout the day.

You may dress your child in a dishdasha or abaya to make their day extra special!
