We had a great day yesterday and today alhamdulilah!
Wednesday:
Health: We made fruit kababs, and we talked about some healthy benefits of fruits.
Writing: Students wrote the steps of making a fruit kabab (How to make a Fruit Kabab)
Math: We completed page 50 in our math books.
Library: We went to the library and Tr. Nancy talked about The MS Read-A-Thon.
Islamic Studies: We started lesson 3, The Prophet (SAW) is an Orphan.
Thursday:
Islamic Studies: We finished lesson 3 where we learned about the Prophet (SAW) as an orphan and how Allah (SWT) took care of him.
Writing: Students wrote compound sentences about honesty.
Math: Our Math buddies joined us and we completed pages 47 and 51 in our math books.
Social Studies: Students completed a worksheet about the globe where they drew the equator, and the northern and southern hemispheres.
Homework:
- Choose a fruit and research 3 or 4 reasons why this fruit is healthy. Students will be making posters tomorrow about healthy fruit.
- Homework pack is due on Wednesday.
