Today's Classwork and Homework

Assalamu Alaikum,

Today we had a wonderful day alhamdulilah!

We started our day by taking turns to tell the class something new we learned on yesterday's field trip.

Reading: Masha'Allah today students maintained stamina while reading to self for 40 minutes. Alhamdulilah I am done the DRA, and you will be getting your child's reading level next week isA.

Grammar: We learned that verbs are action words. We made a verb mind map as a class. After that, Students were divided into groups, and they rotated around the class to write school related, art related, sport related and vacation related verbs on chart paper. Each group got to present one category to the class.

Math: We learned about estimating, and students estimated how many marbles they could draw in a jar in one minute. Then they drew marbles for one minute, counted them and recorded their answer.

We also completed page 14 in our math books where we read the definitions of SKIP COUNTING and ESTIMATE, we skip counted by 5s, estimated dots in a box, and we counted the dots by 2s to record the number of dots.

Islamic Studies: We finished our story wheels about the story of Prophet Adam (SAW), and students started answering questions independently in their I Love Islam workbooks about the sons of Prophet Adam (SAW).

Homework: Homework pack is due on Wednesday.

Have a great evening insha'Allah!
