We had a wonderful day today alhamdulilah!
Reading: Students maintained stamina while reading to self, and I had 2 students read to me today.
Spelling: Today students wrote their review spelling quiz on lessons 7 to 11.
Math: We completed page 23 in our math books where each student came up with a survey question with 3 choices. They walked around the class to ask their questions, and record them using a tally chart. Then, they wrote down what they found out when conducting the survey.
We looked at a poster of a basketball game. Then students made a mini booklet where they showed the title, survey question, tally chart and bar graph about the basketball game.
Islamic Studies: Today the 4As joined us to teach us about wudu. Students worked in groups with the 4As where the grade 4 students acted out wudu, and the grade 2s had to figure out the mistakes they made.
Science: We played "Catch the Puppet" to review the characteristics of amphibians. Then we read the worksheet in our science folders as a class(All About Amphibians).
Qura'n Homework: Practice surat Ala'la Ayah 1-6.
